Kitchen Roll – Premium

This bamboo towelling kitchen roll, backed with printed cotton, is a perfect easy eco swap for your kitchen! Choose from regular 2 ply (cotton backed with bamboo) or ultra thirsty 3 ply (cotton, backed with bamboo, with a layer or Zorb Original sandwiched in between).

The Premium kitchen roll is overlocked and then turned and topstitched, and comes with poppers as standard, so you can pop them together and roll them onto a holder. Choose from standard bee prints (yellow, ivory or a mixture) OR go random! Random rolls are made with excess fabric, so they’re a great way to use up bits of fabric that I wouldn’t necessarily have enough to make a full roll from, plus you get a (hopefully) lovely surprise when you open your package!

This listing is for a set of unpaper towels, measuring approximately 25x30cm. KAM snaps are placed at each of the 4 corners, so that you can snap the pieces together and roll them up. To use, just unsnap a piece. When finished, rinse any residue off under the tap, and throw in the wash to reuse again and again!

Please choose whether you would like a set of 3, 5 or 10 pieces. Due to the nature of the sizes of pieces, some orders (particularly larger ones) may take a little longer than my standard wipes turnaround time, as I may need to order fabric in to complete the order. All fabrics are prewashed before being hand cut and sewn.

All my Unpaper towels are made with towelling: 90% bamboo, 10% polyester; backed with 100% cotton. 3 ply contains an extra unseen middle layer of Zorb Original, which is a blend of bamboo viscose, cotton, organic cotton and polyester fibres.

These wipes can be snapped together and rolled around a kitchen roll dispenser, and can be machine washed to clean. Pattern placement will vary dependent on batch and fabric used.

Laundering
Once used, rinse off any residue and wash with your regular washing*. I recommend washing no higher than 60 degrees celcius and air drying where possible. Bamboo does not like heat, and will bald if tumble dried or dried in direct heat repeatedly. Pieces may lose some shape definition in the wash. Please do not iron; simply pull back into shape whilst damp and hang to dry.

Packaging
All sets come wrapped in a hand stamped branded belly band, with full washing instructions printed on the reverse.

* You can absolutely wash these with your regular clothes wash, however to keep the bamboo absorbent and “grippy”, I recommend not using fabric softener. Why not throw them in the wash with your towel or kitchen towel wash?
