Children’s Harems

The ultimate cloth friendly pants! Children’s size harem pants are absolutely brilliant for wearing over a big cloth bum! Available in sizes 0-3 months, all the way up to Age 12, they’re great on their own or for matching sibling sets! Please use the Size Chart in the photos section to ensure that your order the correct size for your child, then customise the look by choosing your print design and waistband/cuff colour combination! Each item of clothing is handmade to order* so you’re sure to stand out from the crowd!

Harem pants are a loose fit style with a dropped crotch, and are perfect for wearing over cloth nappies (which can be a little bulkier than disposables) and/or for chunky babies. If you’d like something a little slimmer fitting, please check out my children’s Joggers or Slim Fit Harems.

This item is available to order in your choice of current prints, and your choice of matching plain colour co-ordinates. These prints are also available to order in other items, including children’s and adult clothing.

Want your item to last longer? There’s an Add-On for that! Use the Grow With Me (GWM) cuffs add-on to get extra long cuffs – just fold them up when you get them, and unfold as they grow! You can find the add-on here.

Each item of clothing is handmade to order in England. I use custom printed Cotton Lycra (95% cotton, 5% Lycra) for the main body. All waistbands and cuffs are made in co-ordinating high quality Cotton Lycra, in your choice of colour. Seams are sewn up using an overlocker, with a beautiful rainbow thread, so the inside of your items look almost as pretty as the outside! Each item is finished with a seam tag on the outside seam, and care and size labels inside.

The best way to ensure an accurate fit is to go by measurements, rather than shop bought sizing. If you find that you are between sizes and are unsure which to order, please send me an email to katie@foxandbobbin.co.uk to discuss. It’s likely that I will be able to advise on a certain size based on your measurements. Most Fox & Bobbin clothing is made in either stretchy fabric, or designed to be relaxed fit, so sizing issues are usually easy to solve. In cases where there may be a discrepancy of more than a couple of sizes, I am happy to custom draft patterns to fit, please just ask!**

PLEASE NOTE: the scale of the print is the same on every item of clothing, however, it may appear differently in the photos above, depending on the size of the item(s) you order.

Measuring for Baby/Childrens Clothing
Chest: Measure under the armpits, around the fullest part of the chest
Waist: Measure around the smallest part of the waist, usually close to the belly button
Hip: Measure around the fullest part of the hips, around the bottom. If your child usually wears a nappy (cloth or disposable), measure with the nappy on.

Laundering
Turn inside out and wash with your regular washing at up to 40 degrees (recommended 30). Wash with similar colours. To help longevity of clothing, air drying is recommended. If that’s not possible, tumble dry on a low heat. Iron on a low to medium heat if needed.
