Children’s Dungaree Romper

Dungaree style romper with long legs in stretchy cotton elastane.With a harem style drop crotch, they’re ideal for over cloth nappies and perfect for layering! Available in sizes 0-3 months, all the way up to Age 12 – it’s great on its own or for matching sibling sets! Please use the Size Chart in the photos section to ensure that your order the correct size for your child, then customise the look by choosing your own cuff/popper colour!

This romper is designed with a looser fit in mind – ideal for wearing over a vest or t shirt, or even a light sweater. It has a harem style dropped crotch (ideal for cloth nappies), which has the optional add-on of a popper fastening (to make nappy changes easier). It fastens at the shoulders with KAM snaps, which will be colour co-ordinated to your cuff choice. The top half of the romper is lined in the same cotton lycra as the cuffs. The Grow With Me (GWM) add-on for dungaree rompers adds extra long printed cuffs and straps, as well as an extra 2.5cm length in the body, meaning your romper will last much longer! You can find the GWM add-on here. Please note that it’s not possible to have a poppered crotch on Grow With Me rompers due to the nature of the folding cuffs.

Please note: Due to the way the cuffs are made on the Grow With Me rompers, it’s not possible to do both poppered crotch and GWM on the same pair – it’s an either/or situation on the add-ons, I’m afraid!

Each item of clothing is handmade to order in England. I use custom printed Cotton Lycra (95% cotton, 5% Lycra) for the main body. All waistbands and cuffs are made in co-ordinating high quality Cotton Lycra, in your choice of colour. Seams are sewn up using an overlocker, with a beautiful rainbow thread, so the inside of your items look almost as pretty as the outside! Each item is finished with a seam tag on the outside seam, and care and size labels inside.

The best way to ensure an accurate fit is to go by measurements, rather than shop bought sizing. If you find that you are between sizes and are unsure which to order, please send me an email to katie@foxandbobbin.co.uk to discuss. It’s likely that I will be able to advise on a certain size based on your measurements. Most Fox & Bobbin clothing is made in either stretchy fabric, or designed to be relaxed fit, so sizing issues are usually easy to solve. In cases where there may be a discrepancy of more than a couple of sizes, I am happy to custom draft patterns to fit, please just ask!**

PLEASE NOTE: the scale of the print is the same on every item of clothing, however, it may appear differently in the photos above, depending on the size of the item(s) you order.

Measuring for Baby/Childrens Clothing
Chest: Measure under the armpits, around the fullest part of the chest
Waist: Measure around the smallest part of the waist, usually close to the belly button
Hip: Measure around the fullest part of the hips, around the bottom. If your child usually wears a nappy (cloth or disposable), measure with the nappy on.

Laundering
Turn inside out and wash with your regular washing at up to 40 degrees (recommended 30). Wash with similar colours. To help longevity of clothing, air drying is recommended. If that’s not possible, tumble dry on a low heat. Iron on a low to medium heat if needed.
